Abstract:
Provided is a configuration for suppressing the reduction of the resolution of a captured image even when an image sensor in which solid-state image capturing elements having different sensitivities are disposed is used. A demosaic unit (109) finds the color component of a pixel an image of which is captured at a first sensitivity by performing an interpolation calculation using the color components of pixels, images of which are captured at the first sensitivity, around the pixel. The demosaic unit (109) finds the color component of a pixel an image of which is captured at a second sensitivity by performing an interpolation calculation using the color components of pixels, images of which are captured at the second sensitivity, around the pixel.
