Abstract:
Provided is an image-capturing device for acquiring a visible-light image and a range image from which the influence of background light is removed, wherein the image-capturing device prevents deterioration in the range accuracy of a moving body and reduction in a frame rate. For this purpose, the image-capturing device is provided with an infrared light source (103) for irradiating infrared light, and a solid-state image-capturing device (105) having a plurality of first pixels for converting visible light to a signal charge and a plurality of second pixels for converting infrared light to a signal charge, both being disposed in matrix form on a semiconductor substrate. The solid-state image-capturing device (105) outputs, within a one-frame scanning period, a first signal obtained from the plurality of first pixels, a second signal obtained from the plurality of second pixels during a period when infrared light is irradiated, and a third signal obtained from the plurality of second pixels during a period when infrared light is not irradiated.
