Abstract:
Provided is an image capturing device that is capable of achieving further improvements in distance information accuracy, and an electronic apparatus in which the image capturing device is mounted. The present invention provides an image capturing device that is provided with a stereo image capturing unit, wherein: the stereo image capturing unit includes a plurality of sensors; each of the plurality of sensors have an image capturing unit configured from a plurality of repeating units; the image capturing units each have a polarizer having at least one type of polarization main axis angle; and the image capturing device generates normal line information by combining at least two unit images respectively obtained by a plurality of the image capturing units, and acquiring polarization information in at least three directions. The present invention further provides an electronic apparatus in which the image capturing device is mounted.
