Abstract:

An image capturing lens unit in which a plurality of lenses is incorporated in a lens barrel made of resin, the plurality of lenses being configured of, in the order from the object side, a first lens group having a negative refractive power, a second lens group having a positive refractive power, and a diaphragm being sandwiched between the lens groups. The first lens group is configured of, in the order from the object side, a meniscus lens (first lens) having a negative refractive power and a convex surface on the object side, and a meniscus lens (second lens) having a negative refractive power and a convex surface on the object side. The second lens group includes, in the order from the object side, a biconvex lens (third lens) having a positive refractive power, a biconvex lens (fourth lens) having a positive refractive power, a biconvex lens (fifth lens) having a positive refractive power, and a concave lens (sixth lens) having a negative refractive power. Of the first to sixth lenses, the first to third lens are incorporated in the barrel from the object side of the barrel, and the fourth to sixth lenses are incorporated in the barrel from the image plane side, the interval between the third lens and the fourth lens in the second lens group being taken as a reference position.
