Abstract:
This optical system (10) is constituted by: a first lens group (G1) that is arranged on an object side (11) with respect to an aperture stop (St) and that has a positive refractive power as a whole; and a second lens group (G2) that is arranged on an image surface side (12) and that has a negative refractive power as a whole. The first lens group (G1) includes: a first negative lens (L1) that is arranged most toward the object side and that is concave toward the object side; and a first meniscus lens (L2) that is arranged adjacent to the first negative lens (L1), is convex toward the object side, and has a positive refractive power. The radius of curvature R1 of the object-side surface of the first negative lens (L1) and the focal distance f of the optical system satisfy the following condition (1): -1.5 < R1/f < -0.6 … (1).
