Abstract:
This optical system (10) is an image-capturing optical system constituted by: a first lens group (G1) arranged on an object side with respect to an aperture stop (St); and a second lens group (G2) arranged on an image surface side. The second lens group (G2) includes: a first meniscus lens (L9) that is arranged most toward the image surface side (12), is convex toward the image surface side, and has a negative refractive power; and a second lens (L8) that is arranged adjacent to and opposing the first meniscus lens (L9), is concave toward the image surface side (12), and has a negative refractive power. The radius of curvature RLL1 of the surface, on the object side (11), of the meniscus lens (L9) and the radius of curvature RLN2 of the surface, on the image surface side (12), of the second lens (L8) satisfy the following condition (1): -1.0 < (RLL1+RLN2)/(RLL1-RLN2) < -0.1 … (1).
