Abstract:
An image coding method and apparatus and an image processing device. The image coding method comprises: determining to use a palette mode for multiple pixels in an image area to be coded, and determining to use a non-palette mode for one or more other pixels; according to whether pixel values of the pixels using the non-palette mode exist in non-palette prediction information, determining reuse flag bit information of the pixels using the non-palette mode; for the pixels using the non-palette mode, forming sample prediction information by predictable pixels using the non-palette mode; and performing bit stream coding on the reuse flag bit information and indexes, in the sample prediction information, of the predictable pixels using the non-palette mode. Pixels using a non-palette mode can be coded using few bits, and the coding bit cost is further reduced.
