Abstract:
The image collation device includes: a tentative matching point extraction part for extracting multiple tentative matching points, that is, pairs of matching feature points between a pair of input images; and a spatial verification part for evaluating the degree of similarity between the pair of input images on the basis of all limiting conditions pertaining to the consistency of the enlargement/reduction rate, the rotation angle, and the relative positions, which are determined based on the comparison of, or based on the difference between, geometric transform parameters of the tentative matching points with respect to each of the tentative matching point pairs, that is, combinations of the tentative matching points extracted by the tentative matching point extraction part.
