Abstract:
An image correction device equipped with a line segment detection unit for detecting a plurality of line segments that correspond to writing on the surface of a document from a captured image obtained by imaging the document; a shape identification unit for identifying a shape approximation line that approximates the document surface shape from the plurality of line segments; and an image correction unit for correcting the captured image by using the shape approximation line identified by the shape identification unit.
