Abstract:
An image decoding device 200 of the present invention is provided with: an inter-prediction unit 241 for generating a motion compensation pixel by deriving motion information with respect to a geometric partitioning mode (GPM); an intra-prediction unit 242 for generating an intra-prediction pixel by deriving an intra-prediction mode with respect to the GPM; and a prediction information buffer 244 for storing or outputting prediction information including motion information or an intra-prediction mode of a block to be decoded to which the GPM has been applied, and a prediction type enabling determination as to whether inter-prediction or intra-prediction has been applied.
