Abstract:
An image decoding method performed by a decoding device, according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: deriving partitioning-related information on a specific partitioning structure of a luma block for a current chroma block; deriving a partitioning depth for the current chroma block; deriving, from among the partitioning-related information of the luma block, partitioning-related information up to the partitioning depth as partitioning-related information of the current chroma block; performing partitioning for the current chroma block on the basis of the partitioning-related information of the current chroma block so as to derive sub-blocks; and performing decoding for the sub-blocks.
