Abstract:
An image decoding method and device are proposed in which: at least two neighboring sub-blocks adjacent to each other having the same motion vector are identified from among a plurality of neighboring sub-blocks adjacent to a current block; a representative motion vector and representative position information corresponding to the at least two neighboring sub-blocks are determined; a parameter of a model for determining the motion vector is determined on the basis of the representative motion vector and the representative position information; on the basis of the parameter and the position information of the current sub-block included in the current block, the motion vector of the current sub-block is determined; the current block is predicted on the basis of the motion vector of the current sub-block; the representative motion vector is determined on the basis of the same motion vector; and the representative position information represents coordinates determined on the basis of at least two surrounding sub-blocks.
