Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to achieve an image detection processing device such that detection precision can be ensured for a process of detecting a prescribed image region (an image region having a prescribed image feature value) without having to change photography parameters and take multiple shots like in bracketing, using only an image (capture image) acquired by a single shot. An image detection processing unit (1) comprises N tone conversion units (where N is a natural number greater than 1), N detection units, and an integration processing unit (12). The N tone conversion units (where N is a natural number greater than 1) each respectively carry out tone conversion upon an inputted image using different tone conversion characteristics. The N detection units carry out processes for detecting an image region having a prescribed image feature value from the image which has been tone converted by each of the N tone conversion units, and acquire detection precisions of the detection processes. On the basis of the N detection precisions acquired by the N detection units, the integration processing unit (12) detects the image region having the prescribed image feature value from the inputted image.
