Abstract:
An image display apparatus (10) comprises a laser source (12) which emits a laser beam (11), an optical diffusion element (13) which diffuses the lease beam (11), a drive unit (14) which oscillates the optical diffusion element (13), and an image conversion unit (15) which converts the laser beam (11) emitted from the optical diffusion element (13) into an image. The optical diffusion element (13) arranged in the drive unit (14) oscillates due to a nonconstant driving signal amplitude of the drive unit (14), for example, a nonconstant driving signal amplitude to drive the drive unit in a direction indicated by an arrow X in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis.
