Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for operating an image display device. According to the present invention, when the image display device is connected to the power for the first time, i.e. after being disconnected and reconnected, the device enters in a so-called command mode instead of stand-by mode. The operational state of the device is maintained in command mode for a predetermined duration, during which all the routine actions for turning on the device are executed with the exception that the display panel and the speakers are not driven.
