Abstract:
A television (10, 10') pertaining to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a superposing unit (122, 132) and a mosaicing unit (123, 131) for dividing an image into a plurality of partial images and generating a mosaiced image by replacing the partial images with one another, and a display control unit (109) for displaying a superposed mosaiced image in which at least some character information received from the outside is superposed on the mosaiced image, the character information not being mosaiced when displayed by the display control unit (109).
