Abstract:
An image display device displays the right and left eye images of n/2 combinations toward respective corresponding viewpoints. The image display device comprises: a multi-viewpoint image generation unit (14) that receives the right and left images corresponding to predetermined two viewpoints through an image acquiring unit (12) and shifts each of the received entire right and left images, thereby generating right eye images for the n/2 viewpoints and left eye images for the n/2 viewpoints; and a display unit (50) that displays the right and left eye images generated by the multi-viewpoint image generation unit (14) toward respective corresponding viewpoints.
