Abstract:
Disclosed are an image display device which combines a desired number of panels to realize a large light emitting surface, the panel provided in said image display device, and a manufacturing method of said panel. To that end, the disclosed panel (11) has a substrate (12) configured from a flat surface (12a') provided with a rectangle display unit (13), and a curved connecting surface (12b') disposed at the edge portion of the long side of the flat surface (12a'). Groups of terminals drawn from the long side of the display unit (13) are arranged in rows on the connecting surface (12b'). The panels (11) are connected to one another by connecting the edge portions of the flat surfaces (12a') of each of the substrates (12) such that the rectangular display units (13) are longitudinally parallel, and the connecting surfaces (12b') are positioned on the back side of the substrate (12). Pixels (50) are arranged in a matrix in the image display unit, and subpixels are arranged side by side inside of each pixel (50) in the row direction of the matrix.
