Abstract:
An HMD is provided with a light source which outputs laser light having intensity corresponding to an image signal, a scanning unit which scans the laser light outputted from the light source, and an optical member which is provided on the light path of the laser light scanned by the scanning unit and forms at least one intermediate image. A transparent member formed containing a photochromic material is disposed at the position of an intermediate image surface where the intermediate image is positioned or in the vicinity of the position.
