Abstract:
Disclosed is an image display device provided with an image generation unit and a display unit. So that boundaries and gaps between images do not interfere with viewing and so that going from one image to another does not feel like an impediment to viewing, the image generation unit generates an image in which a subject-shape image, which has a shape that follows the outline of the photographic subject, is superimposed on a panoramic image, which comprises a plurality of images lined up, so as to hide boundaries or gaps between said plurality of images. The display unit continuously scrolls the plurality of images by scrolling the image generated by the image generation unit in the direction in which the plurality of images are lined up.
