Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are an image effect processing method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises: in response to an instruction of adding an effect object on an initial image, determining a target display area of the effect object on the initial image, the target display area being a foreground area or a background area of the initial image, the foreground area being an image area where a target object is located in the initial image, and the background area is an image area other than the foreground area in the initial image; and displaying the part of the effect object in the target display area on the initial image to obtain a target image. Embodiments of the present invention display an effect object in a distinguished mode by determining a target display area of the effect object on an initial image, and displaying the part of the effect object in the target display area on the initial image, so that a good effect is achieved.
