Abstract:

Disclosed are an image encoding and decoding method, an encoding and decoding apparatus, an encoder, and a decoder. The image encoding method comprises: extracting, from image data, a current image to be encoded; identifying, from the current image, a standard image having a preset compression mode; calculating a motion vector and a predicted residual by using the standard image as a reference frame; and encoding the current image according to the motion vector and the predicted residual to obtain encoded image data, so as to send the encoded image data to a decoder for image decoding. By means of the image encoding method provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, a motion vector and a predicted residual can be calculated by using a standard image as a reference frame, and a current image is encoded according to the motion vector and the predicted residual to obtain more enriched encoded image data. In addition, the encoded image data carries serial number information of the standard image, such that the standard image can be accurately positioned according to the serial number information.
