Abstract:
Disclosed is an image engraving device for engraving a special composite paper or a thin plastic plate by scanning an engraving needle and a target engraving plate in relative motion, wherein the image engraving device is operated only when certified by the input of a license code. The problems were solved by the provision of a license code input unit for inputting the license code into the image engraving device, a license code certification unit for certifying whether the input license code was correct, and a controller which permits the operation of the image engraving device only when certified by the license code certification unit. To further strengthen the certification, a certification unit was provided in both the engraving needle drive unit and the target engraving plate drive unit, the operations thereof were hard coded, and operation based on incorrect certification was prevented. Only an image engraving device certified by using this scheme can be operated. As a result, the reliability of the target engraving plate created by this image engraving device was improved.
