Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the field of vehicle positioning and specifically relates to an image feature data-based vehicle positioning method. In order to obtain the exact position of a vehicle in a parking lot in which signal strength is poor or non-existent, the method of the present invention comprises the following steps: obtaining an image of a surrounding of a vehicle parking space; extracting a feature vector of the image; comparing the feature vector of the image with a feature vector of a pre-stored image; and determining, according to the comparison result, position information of the parking space corresponding to the image, in which there is pre-stored position information corresponding to the pre-stored image. In the technical solution of the present invention, image identification and feature vector comparison are adopted, avoiding the issue in which conventional wireless positioning methods cannot perform positioning at a location, such as an underground parking lot, in which signal strength is poor or non-existent. In addition, because feature vectors of images are unique, like biological genes, the method of the present invention ensures high precision positioning accuracy and reliability.
