Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: an image foil transfer sheet which solves the problem that, with a conventional image transfer sheet having a glue layer provided on an entire surface thereof, affixation of a foil sheet results in a whole area thereof being bonded onto the image transfer sheet and leads to a failure to transfer only a desired image portion, and which makes it possible, using a foil sheet and a non-contact type printing machine such as an ink jet printer, to transfer an image foil having a desired image shape printable by a printer, such as a complicated figure or a small character, onto an object; a method for manufacturing the same; and a method for transferring an image foil using the image transfer sheet. [Solution] Provided is an image foil transfer sheet characterized by partially comprising an image layer between an application sheet as an upper layer and a glue layer provided in a separable manner on an upper surface of a separator as a lower layer, the image layer having a foil provided between a first clear layer as an upper layer and a second clear layer as a lower layer. Alternatively, provided is an image foil transfer sheet characterized by partially comprising an image layer between a first glue layer provided in a non-separable manner on a lower surface of an application sheet as an upper layer and a second glue layer provided in a separable manner on an upper surface of a separator as a lower layer, the image layer having a foil provided between a first clear layer as an upper layer and a second clear layer as a lower layer.
