Abstract:
The present invention comprises a locking arm that locks a cleaning unit that makes use of cleaning sheets, a sensor that detects the remaining amount of cleaning sheets, a CPU that prohibits image formation operations in accordance with an output of the sensor, and an associated arm that acts on the sensor so that image formation operations are prohibited when the locking arm is in an unlocked state.
