Abstract:
An image formation device (1) is provided with a power supply unit (80) for outputting a voltage to each part, such as a charging unit (123), of the image formation device (1); and an engine unit (70) for controlling the power supply unit (80), the engine unit (70) being separate from the power supply unit (80). The engine unit (70) outputs, to the power supply unit (80), a digital signal as a control signal for controlling the power supply unit (80), the digital signal being outputted by serial transmission. The power supply unit (80) has a D/A converter (81) and an amplification circuit (82), and generates the voltage outputted to the each part of the image formation device (1) by converting the digital signal outputted from the engine unit (70) by serial transmission into an analog signal by using the D/A converter (81), and amplifying the converted analog signal by using the amplification circuit (82).
