[Solution] A printer (100) comprising a case (200), an operation unit (6), a light-emission unit (61), a cover (60), and a pressing member (62). The operation unit (6) includes a reference screen (201B), an LCD panel (204) arranged along the reference screen (201B) and upon which prescribed information is displayed, and operation keys (202) protruding from the reference screen (201B). The light-emission unit (61) is arranged adjacent to the operation unit (6) and emits light on the basis of prescribed alert information. The cover (60) covers the LCD panel (204) and the operation keys (202). The pressing member (62) presses the cover (60) and supports the light-emission unit (61).
