Abstract:
According to the present invention, a control unit executes "E-V measurement (DRY) processing" (S3) and obtains liquid-absent data that expresses the relationship between amount of laser light and the potential at an exposed part for a state in which a carrier liquid is not adhered to a photosensitive drum. The control unit also executes "E-V measurement (WET) processing" (S5) and obtains liquid-present data that expresses the relationship between amount of laser light and the potential at the exposed part for a state in which the carrier liquid is adhered to the photosensitive drum. The control unit uses the liquid-absent data and the liquid-present data to find correction data that expresses the relationship between the potential at the exposed part and a correction amount (S7). During image formation, the control unit uses the correction data to find the amount of laser light to make an exposure device radiate. As a result, it is possible to make the exposure device radiate an amount of laser light that is suitable for achieving exposure in which the potential at the exposed part is a target potential during image formation, even if the reflectance of the laser light varies.
