Abstract:
Provided is an image formation device that facilitates mounting of a drum cartridge to a main-body housing. The image formation device is provided with a main-body housing 2, a drum cartridge, and a development cartridge. The main-body housing 2 has a slot 22B that extends from an opening 22A in a first direction toward the inside of the main-body housing 2. The drum cartridge and the development cartridge can be mounted to the slot 22B through the opening in the first direction. The main-body housing 2 has a drum guide groove 24 extending in the first direction for guiding the drum cartridge. The drum cartridge has a drum protrusion which extends in the first direction and fits into the drum guide groove. The width of the drum guide groove 24 in a second direction decreases from the opening 22A toward the inside of the main-body housing 2. The width of the drum protrusion in the second direction decreases from the opening 22A toward the inside of the main-body housing 2 in a condition in which the drum cartridge is mounted to the slot 22B.
