Abstract:
This image formation device is provided with a frame side plate 101. A frame protruding plate 103 is provided to a mounting surface of a first electric component substrate 61 in the frame side plate 101. An electric component box 70 comprises: a box protruding plate 73 overlapping with a side surface of the frame protruding plate 103 while in a state in which assembly to the frame side plate 103 is complete; and assembly engagement sections 73a, 73b protruding in the thickness direction from the box protruding plate 73. When performing assembly to the frame side plate 101, the assembly engagement sections 73a, 73b are made to engage with first engaged sections 103a, 103b formed on the protrusion-side end section of the frame protruding plate 103, the entire electronic component box 70 is then made to rotate around an axis parallel to the direction of extension of the frame protruding plate 103 while using the first engaged sections 103a, 103b as fulcrums, and a path of passage in the assembly process is thereby restricted.
