Abstract:
The present invention suppresses delays in the completion of work even when cutting a plurality of sheets. The image forming device comprises: a fixing unit, a cutter, and a control unit. The fixing unit includes a heating rotary body, and a pressure rotary body that forms a nip portion between the heating rotary body and the pressure rotary body. The fixing unit fixes an image on a sheet. The cutter is disposed downstream of the fixing unit in the sheet conveyance direction. The cutter is capable of cutting the sheet. When receiving a command to cut a plurality of sheets (S12, Yes), the control unit starts feeding the next sheet (S13) before the cutting of the preceding sheet is completed (S14).
