Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an image formation method that enables accurate measurement of fluorescent luminance originating from a target substance, by reducing noise due to autofluorescence. This image formation method uses a fluorescent substance, and has: a step for adding an autofluorescence suppressing agent to a biological tissue that includes a target substance, and labeling the target substance with fluorescent-substance-integrated nanoparticles to prepare a tissue specimen; and a step for irradiating the tissue specimen with excitation light to form a fluorescence image.
