Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of image forming apparatuses, and in particular, to an image forming apparatus and a control method. The method is applied to an image forming apparatus, and comprises: receiving first information, which is sent by a first device, wherein the first information includes permission information; and according to the permission information, determining an operation permission of the first device for an image forming apparatus and/or determining an operation permission for the image forming apparatus, which permission is authorized by the first device to a second device, wherein the operation permission is used for supporting an operation task for the image forming apparatus by the corresponding device. By means of the solution in the embodiments of the present invention, the flexibility for using an image forming apparatus can be improved.
