Abstract:
An operation to refill a toner in a cartridge of the image forming apparatus is sensed to calculate a remaining lifespan of at least one component consumable through use in an image forming apparatus. Based upon the remaining lifespan of the at least one component, it is determined whether the at least one component is available to be consumed until an amount of the toner to be filled through the operation to refill the toner is consumed Guide information is displayed to guide the operation to refill the toner based on whether the at least one component is available to be consumed.
