Abstract:
The present invention relates to an image forming apparatus and an imaging control method therefor, and a storage medium. The image forming apparatus comprises a master control system and a sub-control system, wherein the master control system is configured to be a central processing unit of the image forming apparatus, and to receive a panel operation instruction from a control panel or a scanning control command from an external input; and the sub-control system receives a scanning start instruction, which is transmitted from the master control system, and outputs, on the basis of the scanning start instruction, a control instruction for controlling a scanning control unit so that same can execute control over the execution of an image scanning operation by a scanning unit, and the sub-control system further receives a scanned image, which is outputted by the scanning unit, and converts the scanned image into a scanned file, which can be recognized, and can be printed or outputted to an external apparatus by the master control system. By means of the image forming apparatus, the problem of a slow imaging speed caused by an image forming apparatus not being capable of quickly processing high-speed printing and scanning transactions due to the insufficient processing capability of a control system thereof can be solved.
