Abstract:
Provided in the present application are an image forming apparatus and a security control system for an image forming apparatus, the image forming apparatus comprising: a controller configured to control the image forming apparatus to execute an imaging operation; a security chip connected to the controller and configured to monitor the operational activity of the controller; and a memory connected to the security chip and configured to store a program to be checked, the program being a program used for operating the image forming apparatus; and the security chip performs a security check on the program and controls the controller not to execute the program when the result of the security check on the program by the security chip is that the security check is not passed. The foregoing is capable of well guaranteeing the security of processing information of the image forming apparatus.
