Abstract:
This image forming apparatus is provided with: an exposure head provided with a light-emitting unit including a first electrode layer that includes a plurality of electrodes two-dimensionally arrayed in a rotating direction and a rotational axis direction of a photosensitive body, a light-emitting layer that is laminated on the first electrode layer, and a second electrode layer through which light is capable of passing; and a control unit capable of controlling a voltage to be applied to each of the plurality of electrodes so that one pixel is formed through control of voltages for the plurality of electrodes arranged at different positions in the rotating direction. The plurality of electrodes are arranged so that a pitch in the rotating direction of the plurality of electrodes included in the first electrode layer becomes an integral multiple other than equal magnification of resolution in the rotating direction of an image formed by the image forming apparatus.
