Abstract:
In a stop operation of a developing device 4, the driving speed of a developing sleeve 42 by a driving unit 120 is decreased until the peripheral speed of the developing sleeve 42 reaches a peripheral speed at which toner scattering becomes sufficiently reduced, and thereafter the driving of the developing sleeve 42 by the driving unit 120 is stopped.
