Abstract:
An image-forming device is provided with: a developing roller that is rotatable while supporting a liquid developer including a toner and a carrier liquid and that includes a conductive agent; a squeezing roller that is disposed in contact with the developing roller, with at least the carrier liquid interposed therebetween; a power supply that is capable of generating a potential difference between the developing roller and the squeezing roller; a current detecting sensor that detects a current energized between the developing roller and the squeezing roller; a control unit that is capable of controlling the power supply; and a display device that is capable of outputting information on the life of the developing roller, wherein the control unit outputs information on the life from the display device (steps S9, S10) on the basis of the detection result obtained by the current detecting sensor (steps S5-S8) when a predetermined potential difference is generated between the developing roller and the squeezing roller by the power supply (steps S2, S4).
