Abstract:
Provided is an image forming device that comprises: a motor 15 that causes a rotary multi-plane mirror 15a, which is provided on a rotor 15b having a plurality of magnetic poles 15b, to rotate; a Hall element 16 that detects magnetic flux changes generated by rotation of the motor 15 and generates a Hall element signal 30; a rotation signal processing unit 300 that performs filter processing for removing noise at frequencies of the Hall element signal 30 except for a frequency corresponding to the rotation speed of the motor 15; a rotation control unit 33 that controls the motor 15 on the basis an FG signal 305, which has not been subjected to the filter processing by the rotation signal processing unit 300, such that the motor 15 rotates at a target rotation speed; and a writing control unit 31 and an image control unit 5 that control an emission start timing of a light beam from a semiconductor laser 12 in order to make a light exposure start position of the light beam on a photosensitive drum 25 constant, on the basis of an FG signal 22 that has been subjected to the filter processing by the rotation signal processing unit 300.
