Abstract:

Provided is an image forming device capable of suppressing the movement of a device body when withdrawing a recording medium storage cassette from the device body. This image forming device (1) is provided with: a device body (3); a recording medium storage cassette (10) provided so as to be capable of being inserted in/removed from one side surface (3a) of the device body (3); a manual feed tray (20) rotatably disposed over the recording medium storage cassette (10) and selectively positioned at a first position at which the manual feed tray is accommodated on the one side surface (3a), and a second position at which the manual feed tray is open at a predetermined angle with respect to the one side surface (3a). The recording medium storage cassette (10) has: a first side surface (12a) constituting a portion of the exterior surface of the image forming device (1); and a handle part (12b) provided on the first side surface (12a). The manual feed tray (20) has a second side surface (20a) constituting a portion of the exterior surface and disposed so as to be continuous with the first side surface (12a). A supporting part (30) provided in the device body (3) is disposed between the first side surface (12a) and the second side surface (20a) and above the handle part (12b).
