Abstract:
An image forming device 10 is provided with a control board 415 which outputs image data to a drive unit 303 in synchronism with a clock signal, a clock generating unit 422 which generates the clock signal, a synchronization signal generating unit 406 which generates a line synchronization signal for one line corresponding to the resolution, in a direction of rotation, of a photosensitive drum 102, and the control board 415, which controls the period of the clock signal and the period of the line synchronization signal in accordance with a magnification, in the direction of rotation of the photosensitive drum 102, of an image to be output, thereby enabling adjustment of the magnification in a sub-scanning direction to be performed accurately.
