Abstract:
An image forming device (1) is provided with: an image forming unit (12) that forms an image on a recording paper; a display unit (473); a network interface unit (91) that communicates with an external device (20); a generator (102) that creates an image from data to be transferred that is to be transferred from a host image forming device (1) to another image forming device, and generates a two-dimensional code; and a control unit (100) that controls the image forming unit (12) or the display unit (473) to print or display a first image which indicates a first region predetermined within the two-dimensional code generated by the generator (102), and transmits a second image, which indicates a second region constituting the remaining region of the first region in the two-dimensional code excluding the first region, to a predetermined external device through the network interface unit (91) without outputting the second image.
