The purpose of the present invention is to save space. An image forming device according to the present invention comprises: an image forming unit that forms an image on a recording medium; a fixing unit that fixes the image to the recording medium by heating or drying the recording medium; and a conveyance unit that conveys the recording medium from the image forming unit to the fixing unit.
