Abstract:
The present invention provides an image forming device that can limit the reduction of cutting accuracy and durability of a cutter. An image forming device (1) includes: an image forming unit (40) for forming a toner image on a sheet (S); a fixing unit (80) for heating and fixing the toner image formed on the sheet (S); a cutter (93) that is disposed above the fixing unit (80) and cuts the sheet (S) having the toner image fixed thereon; and a fan (101) that is disposed between the fixing unit (80) and cutter (93) in the vertical direction and limits the heat transfer from the fixing unit (80) to the cutter (93).
