Abstract:
This image generation device generates a panoramic image, and outputs the generated panoramic image. The panoramic image is obtained by converting, into a planar shape, a projection plane on which a scene in at least a partial range on a virtual sphere viewed from an observation point is projected. In the panoramic image, a unit area on the virtual sphere including a given attention direction viewed from the observation point is converted into a broader area than the other unit areas.
