Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a camerawork information extraction unit (315) that extracts capture information of a captured image; a composition information calculation unit (316) that, on the basis of constraints, determines a cut-out frame for cutting out a new image from the captured image and the capture information; and a composition information shaping unit (317) that, using the cut-out frame, cuts out a new image from the captured image, and converts the result to a predetermined size. By means of such a configuration, images newly generated from the captured images are images that are pleasant for an observer to view, and are favorable images, even if there was no mature imaging technique or the like at the time of image capture.
