Abstract:
The present invention gives a feeling that a stationary object is moving even when apparent movement is not established between the stationary object and a brightness variation region. This image generation device generates a video including a stationary object region, at least one brightness variation region along the contour of the stationary object region, and a background region other than the stationary object region and the brightness variation region. The brightness of the brightness variation region varies with time in a brightness range based on the brightness of the stationary object region and the brightness of the background region. (1) The brightness of the stationary object region is brighter than that of the background region, and the maximum value of the brightness of the brightness variation region is less than or equal to the brightness of the background region, or (2) the brightness of the stationary object region is darker than that of the background region, and the minimum value of the brightness variation region is greater than or equal to the brightness of the background region.
