Abstract:
Provided is an image generation device for providing a cloud service to a head-mounted display over a network. A captured image reception unit (510) receives a plurality of captured images captured from different directions. A panorama image processing unit (530) synthesizes the plurality of captured images captured from different directions, generating a panorama image. A format conversion unit (540) converts the panorama image to an image format suited to the specifications of the head-mounted display. A panorama image transmission unit (550) transmits the format- converted panorama image to the head-mounted display.
